Makerspaces
Romich Foundation supports STEAM education in Wayne County schools and has a modest makerspace in Creston, Ohio. The makerspace includes laser engravers, 3D printers, CNC routers, a TIG welder, and various other power and hand tools. The facility is open to the community without charge by appointment. Email:

A limited number of EasyThreeD 3D printers are available in a lending library for trial.

The display will include a small 3D printer and CNC router as well as samples of items that were made in the Romich Foundation Makerspace.

Barry Romich

Barry Romich is co-founder and Board Chair Emeritus of PRC-Saltillo, a manufacturer of electronic talking devices for people with speech disability based in Wooster, Ohio. A retired electronic engineer, he is now living in Creston, where he manages Romich Foundation and operates the Romich Foundation Makerspace. He is interested in energy sustainability and is presently upgrading his solar PV array from 10 KW (70% of usage) to 23+ KW (net producer). Barry is taking personal action to eliminate carbon emissions by driving electric vehicles and practicing energy conserving measures. (When you love your grandkids, you just do what needs to be done.)
