Other persons participating in Maker Faire this July are Bill and Donna. Donna was a music teacher while Bill started teaching but got hooked on stained glass when his dad took lessons in a library in Cleveland in 1975. Donna then opened Baroque ‘n Glass Shoppe in Smithville where they sold stained glass supplies as well as custom ordered windows and lampshades. Bill appeared on HGTV as a stained glass craftsman for a segment of Room by Room with Matt and Sherri. They enjoy working with glass and like to share their knowledge and experience with others.
At Maker Faire Wayne County this July, Bill and Donna will bring samples of various types of glass and also bring the tools that they use. They plan to work on a small stained glass project and also have a project in various stages of completion.
