  • There is a fee of $50 to sell at Maker Faire Wayne County as a Commercial Maker. However, if you do something interactive or have a demonstration of what you make, the fee is only $25.

    The fee must be received before July 13, 2024. Please write a check to "Romich Foundation" and mail to: Romich Foundation, ATTN: Maker Faire Vendor, 13875 Cleveland Rd, Creston OH 44217.

    You can alternatively pay the fee via PayPal here. Please send either $50 or $25 to "Greg Bilek@MakerFaireWayne".

  • Describe the number of times you are offering to do your demo at Maker Faire Wayne County. If one time, how long is it and what time? If more than once, what time and how often?

  • Main event building is the Wayne County Event Center. Building 2 is connected to the main event building via hallway. Building 2 recommended for makers with large, loud, messy exhibits, have animals, or use open-flame. Please contact us if you need more accommodation options.

  • To ensure you have adequate power onsite, it's essential we know in advance the specific amount you need. To find the total amperage you require, find the amperage listed on the back of each piece of equipment you plan to use onsite. Then, add up the amps and round up to the closest amperage below.

    • - All options below are for a 120v circuit (normal US house circuit.)
    • - Average amperage for common Maker Faire items: Laptop ~2A, Sewing Machine ~0.6A, Lights ~0.3A-2A, 3D Printer ~10A, Arduino ~0.1A. Please check your equipment, and don’t guess; Thank you in advance.
  • Safety

  • This is mandatory for exhibits with open flame or hands on activities with any potential for injury. Exhibitor is responsible for all safety gear required for your exhibit. ie- extinguisher, goggles, etc.

    If your exhibit has any potential for injury, a safety plan is required. This safety plan is reviewed as part of the application process, so please provide it now to avoid delays. If not provided and we deem it necessary, a safety plan is required before your application is considered.

  • Waste and Trash Concerns

  • Waste is anything you expect to dispose of during setup, showtime or load out at Maker Faire Wayne County, such as recyclables, compostables, garbage, reuseable/donatable items, and water.
  • At Maker Faire Wayne County, we provide recycling and garbage bins. All makers are responsible for separating their waste into proper disposal bins.

    TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION....
    I shall indemnify and hold AC Gilbert Heritage Society harmless, its officers and agents, from and against any and all claims, demands, caused of action, orders, decrees, or judgments for injury, death, damage to person or property, loss damage, and liability (including all costs and reasonable attorneys’ fees incurred in defending any claim, demand, or cause of action) occasioned by, growing out of, or arising from the furnishing and delivery of any product or service to be supplied, or other undertakings of Maker Faire Wayne County. Further, I am solely responsible for any injury arising as a result thereof, including any failure to purchase and maintain Workers’ Compensation insurance and compliance with Ohio law pertaining thereto, and I shall not look to AC Gilbert Heritage Society for any liability or coverage regarding the same.
