3D Lab staff assisted in a project requested by Caskey’s Campground. We laser engraved wooden “medals” to be awarded during Dylan’s Dash, a race schedule for June 12th.
The material was obtained from Rowmark based in Findlay, Ohio. Rowmark is a leading manufacturer of engravable sheet plastic (and wood) for awards, engraving, signage as well as materials for dye sublimation and digital printing. Blue stained wood was chosen for this project, sealed by polyurethane.
Caskey’s Campground provided the medal artwork which was engraved on both sides of the medal, then cut into ovals with the laser. They turned out beautifully!
This 5K Cross Country Run/Walk is a fun way to help raise funds for Type 1 Diabetes awareness. The day features inflatables, face painting, food trucks, snow cones, swimming, a DJ at the lake, and many other fun surprises for the community to enjoy.
